My 2009 E90 M3 - Azuriteblack DKG
Hello guys,
Thought I'd share my E90 M3 with you all, I've bought it only 1 month ago as I previous owned an E92 2010 325d (LCI) that was chipped to a powerful 300hp and 711Nm. But the petrolhead in me started to kick in and I kept missing a high-revving engine and ofcourse a performance orientated car. Although the 325d E92 had great power and torque, it wasn't meant to be driven that way imo. So I came across a great E90 M3 with some great specs: M3 E90 2009 Individual Azurite Black Novillo Black leather Leather trim carbon-look M-DCT M Drivelogic M Wheels styling 220 (changed to competition pack wheels, styling 359) EDC Universal remote control Climate control windscreen Electric seats with inflatable side and back Front heated seats PDC (back & front) Rain sensor USB/audio interface Individual High-End Audio Navigation Professional Internet Voice Control Connectivity Package Bluetooth Individual High-Gloss Satin Chrome ... Some pictures after the detailing, too bad the sun wasn't really there for the Azurite metallic flakes to pop because it's a really great finish in the sun |

Looks sweet, congrats!
Never heard of this before, I assume this is similar to a tint on the windshield?

Frakkin gorgeous, major congrats!
Thanks for posting pics, feel free to post more when the sun makes the flakes show. Pics of Azurite on the E9X series are rare.

And thanks all, Azurite is indeed a great looking color and pretty rare to spot. Will have a shoot soon, if the weather is according to plan And I am thinking about placing an M-Performance exhaust (inconel) it's gonna cost me 2.900 Eur ($4.000 but I think it's not comparable in dollars because a full Akra costs $6.800 over here...). I am still not convinced but I would to hate to have a drone or too loud exhaust noise at cruising speeds because it's my daily drive. I still haven't heard both irl, but according to me both have a deeper exhaust note at low rpm's (with the akra being more bassy at low rpm's) and at higher rpm's the M has a nice exotic tone and the akra kinda fades away as I have read here and there? |

Back after a few months
I've installed the performance black kidneys and the M-Performance exhaust system. It has a great sound to it, not too bassy but a little deeper in the low revs with absolutely no irritating resonating sounds and it's very racy in the higher revs. So I'm very happy with it! Now I'm thinking to replace the halogen angel eyes bulbs with some led, like I had in my E92 LCI, can anybody recommend some manufacturers? And here are some updates |

Thank-you for the additional pics. Since this is the color I have on order, I love seeing more pics of it. Nice mods. I've seen the color in real life now on an e92m3.

Your car looks awesome, love the color and love the original look of the car.
Btw. did you replace the ZCP wheels again? It looks like you have the 220M wheels installed, or is this just your winter equipment? |

Well I'm afraid that the pictures don't do the color justice because there was no sun or too dark... In the sun it's truly an amazing color, but it's -10°C here in Europe so we'll have to wait for that

Yes the 220M wheels are my winter equipment, equipped with Michelin Alpin Sport, the ZCP remain in the garage until everything is salt-free again on the roads |
