Hi all,

I'll make the super long story really short but I had a poll for yall regarding throttle actuators. My ESS SC manifold is off to replace my IACV and I was curious what other preventative maintenance items I should look out for. For almost 1600-2000 parts cost for the 2 actuators I'm leaning against replacing them if they are working. Any other thoughts?

I'd leave them if they are not a problem. I had one crap out at 57k miles. As far as I know, my car has never been to the dealership apart from just regular maintenance in the years before I had it. That would mean my other actuator is 7 years old with 83k miles now and is still fine.

I would maybe just replace the spark plugs if that hasn't been done a while. With everything out, it gives you just a bit more room.

Thanks man,
Plugs were changed pre-supercharger (under 3k miles ago). That's what I thought... Other than the rod bearings, which I definitely plan on doing once I see reviews on the new Clevite bearings coming out, this would be an expensive preventative maintenance job.
