^ hahaha.....That's probably because the OP's giving a pretty easy chioice.
Kinda like: Would you want to eat a melted candy bar without a wrapper after it fell on dead roaches, YES or NO. And the 3 people would vote YES (just like on this thread) Last edited by Nawaaz; 08-14-2009 at 05:46 PM.. |

I'm returning the car to the dealer. Only reason I had a hard time was because I just fell in love with it during the week I had it... Hopefully I'll find another one soon.

You'll find another M3--one with more value for your $ and without issues--and you'll fall in love with that one too. And it won't disappoint you down the road with "issues" and "baggage". Let the hunt begin! |

I agree with all the above. For that amount of damage you would need to be buying it for 15-20k less than the cost of a similar non damaged car. In that case you'd be taking less of a risk for when you come to sell. No matter how well the damage was fixed no one else will pay anything close to book for it so you need to be able to drop the price by a similar factor. I wouldn't even have bothered getting it checked unless they were starting the negotiation at 30k. But hey. Do whatever makes you happy. (except buying this car ) |

My BMW 330i was in an accident about a month ago, not as badly as the one done to the M3 your talking about. BMW did all the work, i dont know if its my imagination, or if its for real, but the car drives completely different. I cant wait to get rid of it. WAIT FOR ANOTHER DEAL TO COME AROUND!!

I bought mine for 46 with almost every option ... No wrecks just some slight damage because the owner didn't know how to park. That is way too much damage.
Nawaz saw my car at the meet and it looked pretty freaking new. I would pass op and keep searching. |
