Encore Titanium Axleback Exhaust Videos

Enjoy!

Sorry about the slow framerate/grainy-ness.
I made sure to use a decent mic for the recording though .

Sounds great Catch, The Encore Ti Axleback is a great piece, I'm considering it for my E92 M3...

Hi Catch

Just got the Encore installed....What a difference. Sounds great. I am happy I went with this system. And much lighter as well compared to stock.

I did a search & any info regarding this exhaust is non-readable due to threads started by Encore Innovation since they're no longer a board sponsor. Can you guys/gals help me out w/some questions?

1) Any fitment issues?

2) Drone? If yes then where on the RPM band?

3) Is this more of an F1 high-pitched (Meisterschaft GT 1/2) or Gintani Race (domestic v8 deep rumble)? I've only heard an Eisen. Race & Meisterschaft GT1 in person although I've heard a full Gintani Race + X-pipe (no cats/resonators) setup in person.

4) How loud compared to other exhausts on the market? Eisen. race, Gintani race, Agency Power, etc.?

5) Can the butt-dyno tell any difference?!?

6) Lastly, I went to their website but it doesn't work...Are they out of business?!?

Thx!

- Jimmy

Hey Jimmy,

Here are the answers to some of your questions. Hopefully some of the other members can chime in to help. Also, check your PM and give me a call

1) Any fitment issues?
No fitment issues that anyone has reported. This is direct bolt to OEM.

2) Drone? If yes then where on the RPM band?
Little drone between 2k-3k RPM. However, this exhaust does make some noise!

I have heard that this setup is more of a Domestic V8 Rumble. This is the only thing that concerns me. Then again, I also wanted to go to the cutout route which is the epitome of the above

4) How loud compared to other exhausts on the market? Eisen. race, Gintani race, Agency Power, etc.?
Although I have not heard this exhaust in person, the feedback I have received is that it's louder than Eisenmann Sport, quieter than Eisenmann Race. Definitely much louder than Agency Power. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the loudest, stock is a 3 and this exhaust is a 7.

Another member on the boards posted his up for sale due to the exhaust being a bit too loud for the family. For him, I'm sure it was fine. He went Akrapovic for quality and noise reduction.

5) Can the butt-dyno tell any difference?!?
Couldn't tell ya However, the same member that posted his up for sale said the pull up top was definitely noticeable.

6) Lastly, I went to their website but it doesn't work...Are they out of business?!?
Yes, they are currently not making these exhausts anymore. If you run into any warranty issues you will have to get the exhaust repaired by a local shop - otherwise you're SOL.
