BROKE!

I wonder how they came up with the market adjustment? 15K? Why not 20-30K while they're at it?

Completely asinine.

Let them fish. Have you ever smiled at a woman way out of your league? You can try and then eventually (like maybe 1/2 hour before closing time LOL) settle for reality.

It's worth whatever someone will pay...

There is no woman out of your league. If your within smiling range, then that's all you need. You just have to work a little harder (and smarter) to continue the process.
Is this off topic?

I don't see why people need to complain. If you don't want it, fine. But somewhere there is someone with more money than you who doesn't care and will buy it just to have it. If it sells, BMW did things right. If it doesn't, BMW needs to adjust accordingly.

Many cars are overpriced IMO, but it's all relative to personal preference.

I don't believe in all these ADM's but you can't blame the country we live in or the companies doing business in the good old USA. It is the people paying these ADM's that create this monster. Like the above said some folks have more money then sense so they will pay these crazy prices. The funny thing is when they go and sell them like one was on here a little bit ago and that same person thinks he is getting that ADM back in his resale price. To me an ADM is literally like burning money. You will NEVER get that money back.

Having said that if you were selling something, anything, and someone offered you more than what you were asking or felt it is worth, would you not be happy to take the money?

I think we forget that "pocket change" is a relative term. It means something different to someone who has $10k in the bank than to someone who has $10 million in the bank.

This is basically a "to each his own" situation. You'll either pay that price or not. No right or wrong...depends on its value to the individual.

What would have been interesting is for this limited edition to have came with a specialty membership to the Lime Rock track included in the price of the car. Private track days, driving school, parade laps at special events/races. I wouldn't put down the guys how decided to buy one.

the market adjustment is ridiculous, but that is the dealer not the car. The actual lime rock car is not any different then buying your regular m3 and modding it.
If you build the same car minus the extras it comes out to $76 and change. So you are paying $6400 dollars more for the lime rock with is the paint exhaust etc etc seems like a good deal for someone that would go that route anyway.
so again your paying $6400 for about $13k plus in parts and paint retail. even if you got 50% off retail for the parts your still making out $3k or so ahead.

IND paint $5k
Competition Package ($2,500)
M Performance Inconel Exhaust ($3,999)
M Performance Alcantera Steering Wheel ($800)
M Performance Carbon Rear Spoiler ($565)
M Performance Front Carbon Splitters ($790)

anyone hating on the lime rock price and owns a modded M3 needs to look again.
It doesn't really matter what anyone says but it just makes you look like a tool when you say things that don't make any sense at all

This is like arguing if Sub Hub is a good or bad thing.
