6MT guru's please chime in

Im going to try and describe this the best way i know how.

When shifting, it goes into every gear with no problems. the issue i have is that when i shift i really have to let off the clutch slowly as if riding it and if i dont it feels like im dumping the clutch.

does this mean there is almost no clutch left? i really have to let the clutch up slowly as if it was finding the bite point. i hope you guys knowwhat im trying to describe. thanks

Can it be the hydraulics which activates/de-activates the clutch is letting go to fast ? If that makes any sense

Is the fluid low? Can have air in the system which is making it "dump" the clutch , how does the pedal feel?

pedal feels perfect. The fluid is at normal level.

I went out around the block just hearing for the engagement of the clutch and the transmission just sounds loud. the only way i can tell if this is normal is to drive someone else's.

I just changed the tranny fluid and the diff fluid.

It could be your rear diff bolt(s).

I had some rough shifts a while back with my old 6MT and it was because that diff bolt was loose (common problem for 6MT's)

Miles on your car please.

Look under the rear of the car and make sure the diff is sitting level.

What modes do you have on normally?

What modifications?

45k miles
drive the car with no modes
no mods/stock

If i have air in my clutch lines is that why im feeling that dumping feeling?

If i take more time to ride the clutch i will not get that dump clutch feeling. thats why i think its maybe a mount.

I had put pressure plate before but it sounds a like more like problems with the hydraulic system.

You could bleed the system, I would probably have a BMW approved shop do that.
