apex arc-8 wheels

What are your thoughts on the Apex ARC-8 wheels?

I'm always a little wary about CSL style wheels just because they can tend to look kind of "played out."

However - the stance of the spokes on this wheel seem wider than typical CSL style wheels.

My first impression when I see these wheels is not "CSL wheel" but "track wheel."

I think what makes them look most like track wheels is the big carved out circle in the middle. Seems like it could be a good match with the big air dams in the bumpers and the vents on the side.

So do you think these wheels help maintain the m3's appearance as a luxury sports coupe? Or do you think these wheels make the m3 look more like a sports car? Or do you think these wheels make the m3 look more like a track car?

Why are so concerned about the looks of track wheel?Funtionality takes precidence over styling in this case.
