Parting out my M3 so I have a used MS-97 shift knob (used for 3k miles) that needs to go as my next BMW will be automatic

How does it mount, how heavy is compared to stock. If you don't mind giving little more info, I am interested. Does stock boot remains?

It attaches by heating up the knob and it stays tight once cooled. I cut the stock boot to make it fit. Weight is similar to stock.
