Focus RS Official Specs
Wow, can't believe they actually stuck AWD on this thing. Seriously BMW, with Ford pumping out the GT350 and now this, the M2 better be something special if you plan on keeping my attention. I'm already considering a deposit on this little rocket.
2.3L Ecoboost 4 "At least" 320hp 320lb/ft AWD with differential based torque vectoring proper 6-speed manual Michelin PSS or factory option Pilot Sport Cup 2 1g lateral road holding http://jalopnik.com/2016-ford-focus-...-ha-1683323602 Little info on the AWD system from Autocar Mag: "The all-wheel drive system is based around twin electronically controlled clutch packs. These are located on each side of the Rear Drive Unit (or RDU, which works like a limited-slip differential). The RDU uses sensors that monitor conditions 100 times per second to distribute power continuously between the front and back wheels and on either side of the rear axle. Up to 100 per cent of the available torque can be sent to either wheel." http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/ne...usive-pictures Last edited by fcman; 02-03-2015 at 09:40 AM.. |

I must say I really like what Ford is doing with their new cars and the new Focus RS is fantastic. I would probably take this over STI and EVO. |

WOW, I could definitely see owning this car once the wheels of my Z4M fall off. BMW with their overweight pig cars made like shit have seriously fallen out of favor with me. I have no desire for any other BMWs after my Z4M (loved my 135i, but that N54 has so many issues it's ridiculous) so I'm moving to Ford one day. What an incredibly nice looking car that Focus is!

Who wants to bet that the price will ensure this car is a failure? This is a car made primarily for a young market... if its not attainable to them, it will fail. $35k is not an attainable price.
