rho plate vs gominigo

first of i want to apologize for making a thread here and on the cosmetics board. I just want some more answers before i get pulled over for not having a license plate since it just came in the mail today anyways...

Just got my 2012 beauty last week and I've grown attached to the sexy look of a plateless front but I live in NJ and I know tickets will be coming my way if I leave it without a plate.
Basically I just wanted to know which of these tow hook methods sticks out further?
Im leaning towards the rho plate because it comes with rubber foots to prevent the plate from scratching up against the bumper for whatever reason.
Inputs??

Here you go ====> Click for Thread posted before in this forum here ... do use the search option it is very helpful

if you don't like this one then use what you found before (i.e the rho plate).

I did the WSTO tow hook. Very reasonable and very stout. Had it on for months and it hasnt budged. Very good choice IMHO.

In NJ do you gets tickets from cops or maids? If the latter like in SoCal, just put the plate on the dashboard when parked on the street. Problem solved

I had the RHO plate on my 335I but haven't yet put it on the M3. It works ok but I had a constant problem of it getting loose and tilting to the left or right. Thread lock works temporarily. With that being said, I don't see anything in the go mini go design to prevent the same problem.

I have had the gominigo on two of my e90's and they were and are solid. My vote is gominigo as I have not seen the RHO plate.

Here is a top down picture of mine if this helps. Again this is on an E90.

gominigo ($60.00) mfest ($180.00).... I think I would get the $60.00 one and pocket the $120.00 for something else.

The only reason to get that plate is if you plan on removing it often or not to have it on at all. If you plan on keeping it in your trunk then why would you spend nearly $200.00 for it to just sit there. In some states you (as you know) will get a ticket so if you plan on keeping it on more often than not then save your money.

Also why not just buy three gominigo's for the same price and give two of them away for Christmas presents.

Not sure if it sold but here is the quick release being sold used here:

Well the only reason i considered it was because i go to shows often so when i do it is way easier to just take off rather than walk with tools to take it off. But still way too pricey to be worth it. Was just throwing it out there just incase OP didnt know about it

If you must have a front plate, just get a nice plate frame and mount the plate properly in the center. Having the plate off to the side looks totally hideous IMHO. A nicely framed plate in the center really doesn't look so bad.

The WSTO plate is the gominigo.
