yea but you have to think about that is just numbers lol. will you experience that with the thought of having your warranty voided? no. so all it is, is just a claim

I agree, but what is being taken away here is the freedom to mod your car by pointing the warranty to your head like a loaded gun.

top gear said it best : launch control is for fat balding men to impress their friends

i'm sure you'd get just as good of an experience in the GT-R launching it however the hell you want and you'll still impress your friends

the market for the GT-R is big enough that mods will be out, and people who have money and love this sorta thing (hopefully me in a decade) will mod the crap out of that thing

when your mods probably cost 1k+, i don't think you're too worried about maintaining it if there is always something better you can replace it with. by it i mean parts. Just wait for nismo to bring out their own beast

just launching the car w/o launch control can still lead to warranty void (black box). sure you can tune it but when something happens to the car like tranny or engine i don't car how rich i am (ok maybe a millionair ) i will not be paying a 25-30k repair bill.

and i saw my first gt-r today. it was silver and even though it was broad daylight and far away, the front stands out so clear. this was my first gt-r siting and i was in aw. the front isn't that bad without license plate and the side looks good and the rear not bad at all.
