Unfortunately you'll both have to compromise. Yahtzee is actively looking for a 535i (check the other forums....)

But you could always post on your local craigslist saying you're looking to trade and see what happens.....

p.s., don't get married. They will always be prettier girls out there. You might find it rough going. Remember, the grass may seem greener on the other side but it's still grass. Enjoy your 550i, I'm sure it still loves you.

I'll definitely look into craigslist and see if there's any interest there but the more I read over the responses from you guys and the more I think about selling the 550i, it almost sounds crazy. Especially after crunching the numbers on a trade in/purchase and the amount of $ I'd be losing. So for the time being it is still 550i FTMFW.

So I guess thats the end of my attention whoring for a little while.

It doesn't just sound crazy it is crazy. Now you're talking some sense!
That would have been a lot of money just to play with a 550i for a few months. You could have probably rented one for less....

Trade-in would have killed you. Take a look at the latest Manheim auctions for the 550i. Appreciate the new relationship in your life and live with her for a while..... now have fun and play on.....

That's f'ing hilarious, I have an M3 coupe and I was feeling the exact same crap you were feeling...I am a torque guy and the M3 just feels slow to me. I was looking at the 550i because I like the beefy look, smooth ride, extra room, torque'y take offs...etc.... The 550i is a pimp mobile.
Anyways, humans are retarded... we always think we want something else and are never satisfied with what we have...

I understand how much of an influence a forum like M3Post can have on an individual/enthusiast. After all, many members spend hours researching this forum on a daily basis. The pros/cons haven't changed, and you will definitely take a huge financial hit if you decide to purchase an M3 (..whose prices are already inflated as it is). Approach this logically.......do yourself a favor and wait bro.

Is the 550i a lease or purchase?
I was gonna tell him to go for it, until I read this and logic came through.

PLAYON, you should wait man. :/
