Got a ticket for not having my wheels balanced!!!

So I got new tires on my rims today. I left Americas tire got on the freeway. As soon as i hit 50 mph my steering wheel was shaking figured they where not balanced properly so no big deal. So they Balanced them again and i hopped on a different freeway trying to avoid traffic. I wanted to see if my steering wheel would shake .So i hit 80-85 mph and it was still shaking. I was pissed....then i took the exit off the freeway next thing you know CHP gets behind me. lights me up says he got me for 85 i was like WTF no you didn't he said yes showed me the laser gun. I was like my valentine didnt go off he comes back and tells me to sign the ticket i say no not until you answer two questions. I said i know you dont care but i got new tires and there not balanced properly and my steering wheel was shaking and i wanted to see at what speed. 2nd question can you please shoot my valentine with your laser and he said sure so he did from the back of my car and from the front and it beeped like crazy. He said i still wouldnt trust that thing i said it workes every time. He said looks like not this time have a nice day!!!

testing cars for balacing does not make you invincible on the highway or gives you permit to speed. maybe i should get a new tires whenever I want to speed.

I was gonna ask him can you just give me a ticket for no front plate or window tint instead of the speeding ticket but kept my mouth shut thinking he give me all three..

Did you ever think he didnt hit u with the gun and just observed..its not hard to spot someone speeding..just proves my point how hit or miss these devices are

Let me get this straight, a cop pulls you over and you tell him you have a v1. Then you were going to tell him you got tint and no front plate. Pal, you need to learn.

Like a cop made up a bs ticket today on me. I like got a ticket for checking my gas mileage. I like recently filled up my tank, and like wanted to see if my gas mileage changed and 140 mph. He then like comes up out of nowhere, and is making up some bs about me going 140. I was like, I didn't see you so your like making it up. He then gives me a ticket. I was going to tell him about the dead hooker in the trunk, or about the bag of cocaine in the glovebox, but then thought he might get me in trouble for those too.

yea nothing wrong with having a V1 I have been on a ride a long with my local PD pulled few people over let them slide on the major violations but dont let them go home scott free but it was CHP and he was fat looked little cranky so i figured dont bother!

If can get out of a ticket goin 120 MPH on my R1 should be able to do this easily? gotta present your story and have some math formulas and a good lawyer

Sucks op. should have told them you just changed your oil and you need to test the car out. Works better than my MD plates!
