Back in a M3

Well I figured I should get around to posting. Been lurking on here ever since I sold my 2006 Comp Package M3. Finally decided to buy another M3.

Specs: 2011 Comp Package, Alpine on Fox Red/Black, DCT, Loaded. Mods so far are: Painted Reflectors, MS 15/12 Spacers, Performance Grills, Carbon Mirrors.

Anyways onto the pictures.

My old M3:

My Z06 (had full exhaust, intake, ported heads, manifold and TB dynoed 503/480 prior to the retune....decently modified) which I sold for the M3:

Prior to Lowering it:

Lowered:

Finally my new M3, prior to the spacers:

More mods to come. Still trying to decide on suspension, exhaust and track wheels.

Honestly, I only every miss the torque, and manual sometimes. I could exceed all speed limits in town in 1st gear, with the 345 rear tires it topped 1st out at 68ish. Never really had a chance to get on it since I moved back to AZ. When I was living in Texas it was a blast, much more open and significantly less cops. Plus it was having some pretty weird issues since the originally owner who modified it did it half-assed. It was running a rather "unhealthy" 500+whp. It sat in a shop for a little over 2 months, while they tried to find what was the issue with it. During which my father was able to lend me an extra car, his 07 GT3 and 08 M5. After driving those for 2+ weeks each I decided I wanted a German car again. The fit, finish and driving experience is more of what I want for a car I drive everyday. I will get another Z06 in the future, but it will be my weekend/toy/track car.

At least you got to drive a GT3 and M5 for a bit

I must be honest, I've never really liked the Vette. I've seen a few that push big power, but cornering is not the best though.

Enjoy the M3, hope you have lots of safe miles

I appreciate all the compliments! I am loving my new M3, but I still miss my E46. I am still searching for another E46M3, the only car I wish I still had.

I know how you feel. I went German back in 04 with the e46 M3 and have always had a BMW or Porsche since. Enjoy the car! BTW, where in AZ are you? I assume Phoenix area...
