Whats the best tire in 285/30 size?

I really want PSS, but if it's not offered by the time I have to change my stock conti's, what are good max summer tires for street use?

The conti 5p are great tires...for to get them warmed up. They are far better than conti 3s.

My two cents

The Bridgestone S04 is available in that size and is a pretty good overall tire.

Agreed, inline with a Mich PSS in my opinion. I have these and they are wonderful. Not to mention they are available as an OEM tire for Mercs and their AMGs.,

The regular M3 doesn't get the Corsa except for the M3GTS. OEM tires for the M3 are currently the Pirelli PZero, Continental SC3 and the Mich PS2s.

Dave,
Are you currently running the conti's or do you still have the nitto invo's? Which do you feel are better? The Conti 3's I bought off you are about done and I am looking to run the same set up as you have. 255/35, 285/30

Sorry yea, that's what I meant, can I put the M3 GTS corsa tires on to a regular M3 and how do those compare to the earlier mentioned tires?

I did not find 5p particularly high in traction as they came as OEM c63 tires

The Conti 5s are a better tire than the Invos. I feel inline with the PSSs. Man those Conti 3s lasted that long?

I got 26k miles out of the fronts with the Invos..while every 13k miles I had to switch out the rears.

Pirelli Corsa hands down. I've been running them for last year and love them. Hold up great to track abuse, good for daily driving too. Phenomenal dry grip. Good wet performance. Ride is a tad harsh as they go through half worn. Other tires used: AD08 (in 275/295), PS2s, Contis.

I don't think there is a street tire out there that can hook with a C63, so much torque.

I think you mean 275/35/19...if not, the tire you mentioned is to short.
