As for colors i believe AW shows off the lines of the M3 the best, hence why every picture in the brochure is AW.

So true, the fact the 18's are to ugly to not purchase the 19's!

If you did a little more searching than being nit picky than maybe you would KNOW something about M-DCT, EDC, 18-19in wheels, etc.

That is true that communication with BMW is a PIA, I call BMW NA or my guy every few days to get up to date info. But remember, we are the early adopters, hence why a lot of us are ordering "in the dark". Once the car is officially released come March the general public will need more info, pics, etc which i believe BMW will step up.
Also since M-DCT is under limited production until June. We're going to be the guinea pigs and i suppose ordering one now will be ordering in the dark, you just have to have faith in BMW that the new tranny will be extraordinary. Or if someone is in doubt they can just wait a few months for a solid review.

All that said, it matters not to 90+% of those who will be buying the new M in the first several months of sales. That crowd (this forum) does not need the marketing focus. After the early crowd orders are depleted (early next year maybe), then they will need to focus more on the 911 buyers, some buyers lost to Cadillac CTS (will never understand that) and they will need a good story for why purists should buy the M3 vs. an eventual 1 series Tii (if that comes state side). Anywho, just my observations/thoughts, which with $4 might get you a latte. |

Will my M3 be faster running on small 18" wheels/tires, or on bigger 19" wheels/tires? Can I get a picture of carbon leather trim, and is it the same as the carbon fiber roof (and can I also get carbon fiber roof on a sedan with a moonroof) What's the difference between PDC and PCD ?
