✪ Alekshop | Grime Going Bright

We had pleasure to work with Grime on his new 2011 M3 that he recently got !
After debating where to go with this car, we decided to go Bright !

It turned out pretty good ! It's more track than street oriented car

Car has the following mods:
  • ESS VT1
  • Akra
  • Apex wheels with MPSC tires
  • Alloy Technik wheels with MPS2 tires
  • Challenge parts

Since APEX wheels won't clear 380 Brembo's, we went with APs.

New AP Racing in place

His daily Alloy Technic wheels

New APEX track wheels being mounted with MPSC tires

AP Racing clearing wheels with no spacers

This is where it gets Bright

Aleks.

Looks great and goes well with the wheels ... Though my personal preference is yellow brembo.

Badass!!
The color scheme looks awesome!
Whats the main difference between the AP racing caliper vs Brembo caliper setup?

AFAIK, the AP allows for a bigger variety on 18" wheel. It's also easier to change the brake pads with the open bridge design. The rear pads on the Brembo's are pretty easy to change, but for the front', the calipers have to come off.

Like Ben said, you can buy wheels like APEX which are very cheap and use them with APs with no issues ...

question, are the hats on the AP racing brakes not prone to rust?

I notice it's black, is it just a coating? Or will it remain so?

Great track build. Glad to you see you have that new Hunter mounting and balancing equipment, so members can get a full wheel/tire setup from you! Congrats
