5.99%??? Ouch! That does sting. Maybe it will go down in Oct. when I sign the paperwork.

I agree. I will definitely shop rates before I sign. I checked my CU after see the 5.99 rate and they are at 5.39.

Looks like I am getting an '09. Anybody want to pick up a 2010 M3 in Europe. I can put you in touch with my SA.

Are there many '09s left to choose from? I had considered getting an '09, but the M3 is a car I have wanted for a long time and decided I would rather pay a little more and get exactly what I want.

Good luck in your search.

From the search my SA did for me, no. He only found a couple on the east coast that vaguely met my criteria.

I'm in the same boat as you Dolby. I am set to pickup my 2010 M3 on October 23rd at the Welt and 5.9 is not going to be easy to swallow.

I could not do it. The base rate was too high for me and there was no credit union that would be willing to finance an ED. So now I have a 2009 spec'd out almost like the 2010 except this one has a moonroof which did not care about having.

Maybe I can take a trip in the spring and rent myself a M3 for the ring.

Why would credit unions not finance ED vehicles? I'm scheduled to pick my ED up on 10/16 and I was planning on using my local CU.

Was just looking at bmwusa.com and it's so frustrating see '09s at .9% yet the '10s are in the 5% range. I am hoping to God that these rates come down for everyone, but in a selfish way sometime around the holidays since I will likely be picking up my car right around 12/1/09

The lowest rate I've found so far in California was 3.94% APR from Bank of America.
New York rates are 3.84%.

I sure hope BMWFS gets down to somewhere around 1.9% or so by years end.

Spencer, I think there is no way bmwfs will offer 1.9% on the 2010's (if they did, i would make up a 1.9% dance and post it here). At this point, I would be happy with 2.9%. My wife's local credit union is offering 2.9%, but only for 3 yrs, making payments somewhat large unless I put down a hefty down. I think I've given up on financing and will just outright buy it and be done with it.
