Calling everyone with a Hamann Shift

Hey guys I've had this knob for a few months now, and while I love the look and weight, it always seems to come lose. I tried wrapping the piece that connects it to the car in electrical tape and then screwing it on but that does not help either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any tips would be appreciated.

Do you have the aluminum one? I do and had the same problem. You have to really tighten it down! I bent my Allen key but now it is tight and never comes loose.

Thanks for the reply. It's the black and silver one. Did you put electrical tape or tighten it right on the metal?

Thanks. Unfortunately my screws aren't in the best condition. Is it possible to order a new set?

No need to order, I needed new ones as well. Take one to your local hardware store and you can get replacements.
