Their was an IB coupe up front with Veteran plates.

Inside I saw a man in what was probably his mid 70's , slightly overweight and bald with hearing aids. It was his car and started talking to me and my CA about how the car was a total sleeper and how a vette pulled in fast towards him but backed off once we saw the M badge....

In any case, Although its cool he is young at heart, He is probably not flooring the car out of corners and for him, pushing down on the throttle 50% is enough to get him going.

On the other hand, to be blunt, I have my concerns about a 17yr old in this car. I am 10 years older and remember when I was 17. If i had a car this fast i probably would have gotten into a lot of trouble (and I don;t meet sppeding tickets- i lived in overseas)

Just do your best to keep safe. The car is only as good as the driver and at 17 you still have a lot to learn.

In any case, congrats and enjoy..
Everyone learns everyday and get better at it BUT i live in socal. Traffic is crazy and we got some nasty drivers out there, no problem for me. I am not bragging but can definetely take care of myself.

no way an m3 is an old man's car. like another poster said, a 7 series - yeah, but not an m3.
