His name is Rainer and he is truly the best out there. I belong to a few diecast forums and you should see his work! One of his latest projects was to turn a 1/18 scale BMW M1 race car into an M1 street car since one has never been made.

His website has many of his one off creations:

Check it out:

I'd pay some good $ for an E90 model. O well doubt it will ever happen.

Yeah, it's sad I had to settle for a Silverstone E92 M3 model at BMW Welt. For some reason, they didn't have any Blue Water E90 M3's !?

In fact, even before reading this thread I was looking at the model thinking there's an opportunity to make custom models in custom colors for people with a rapid prototyping machine (3D printer).... It's going to be a kickass century...

Never seen one, they don't make it. I have a MR E92 M3 Diecast from Kyosho. As good as it's going to get

Yes, but you must have the few hundred thousand euro to buy a licence from BMW AG?

I see these modellers either at the Four Cylinder or the Welt photographing their hand-made models. It is amazing how they persevere and produce something as accurate as possible.

The M3 was initially available as E92 and E93 with operating hardtop.
There never was an E90 Miniature series of the M3. And there wont be.
I think the only E90 M3 coming soon is in 1/43 scale limited edition model of the M3 CRT.
