E93 UK to Australian Compliance
Hi all,
I have a 2011 E93 in the UK that I was thinking about bring back to Australia in 18 months time however the Australian design rules around child seat anchor points could be a problem. The Australian spec E93's have a zip in the top portion of the rear seat for the tether strap to pass through to attach to anchor point in the rear panel. The anchor points are in the same location at the clips for shopping bags found in other markets. The UK spec cars only have the standard ISOFIX attachments. Does anyone on the forum know how an anchor point could be retrofitted to comply with Australian Design Rules. Thanks in advance Jeff |

E93 top tether
Hi Jeffa32, I realise this is an old thread - but I have had lots of trouble getting info on this. I intend bringing my 08 E93 back to Oz in 6 months - is there a solution to retrofitting the top tether securing point?
