Alright Boys and Girls, (June 29 UPDATE)

OFFICIAL DATES HAVE BEEN SET:
July 29th will be the Shop Cruise and BBQ
July 30th will be the Track Event at Blackhawk Raceway
If track day does not work out, we will changes these dates! I will have more information in the next couple weeks!

MONEY COLLECTED FOR FOOD AND RAFFLE WILL BE DONATED TO BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF AMERICA!

BIG UPDATE!! We have a new meeting place, instead of going to Each Midwest sponsors shop we are going to host them all at one place. We have reserved a forest preserve and will have sponsors setup tents and many other things!

UPDATE: Food, we are working on getting food, it looks like we might be either getting donations or might have to charge something like 10 bucks all you can eat. I will update with more info. Hopefully by the end of the week we will have a 100 percent answer. We are also going to use this money and donate it to a cause (will have that info as well)

Update on Service, we will have icucCoding come out and do some coding, we are not sure what the deal with this is, but if your interesting in getting some coding done please pm me. (please post here if you want to get your car coded!

Alright boys and girls, I have heard back from the organizers from SCCA and have the official sign up page.

It will be 195 if we just go in on this individually, but I was told if we could get a official list of people who will sign up for this event we can get it for 175. So lets start up a new list of people who will be interested in doing so!

I think it would be nice for many of us to gather and possibly go visit the many BMW shops in the Chicagoland area. When we stop by each shop (possibly) have them offer something for us to make it worth it. Definitely get to see what these shops are about and for people who are far away and dont have a reputable shop in your area to check them out.

For example:

3. Dent Removal is very possible (once this is finalized we will post where and when)

In for the track day for sure if we can get to the 35 people. Assuming you have the full track for the whole day there's no reason to limit it to 35 people, you could easily have 80-100 participants with everyone having plenty of track time and a not particularly crowded track.

Do you know what the $9k includes? Is it just track rental? Corner workers? Required ambulances? Insurance?

I have run a few track days for Midwest Council at Blackhawk Farms and the Milwaukee Mile. They are a lot of work but a lot of fun to do. PM me if you are looking for any help getting that organized.
