That's true. A clean V8 M3 might hold it value better than people think, especially if they step down to a TTI6 for the next one and people realize the razor sharp response and linear power band that high-revving NA ///M engines are know for isn't as good on the turbocharged engine.

LEASE M3 and BUY the house. Order may not be that important. If you lease it, the bank sees the lease payment times term as your loan. So to a bank your M3 lease is a 30K loan NOT a 70K loan. Buy a house. $100K cash will easily get you into a $400K house at a very aggressive rate and no PMI, etc.

You will get a nice break on taxes, and a $700 / month lease payment will not be a huge issue. Do you have a car? Any equity in it? With a small down payment, you can get your lease payment to $600...

OP, I am 22 yrs old, have managed to work, and save almost all of my money, AND be stdent on top of that. Last year i came within a signature of buying an IB e92 m3 off the showroom floor. Fortunately i was with my father and he looked at me and said, " is this really what you think is right." Last november i bought a condo (on the same street as my parents, bcuz they too, adore me) had it completely re-done, and now i live in the ultimate CUSTOM bachelor pad. Chicks can sigh and laugh at my 2005 3 seris all the want, but at the end of the day, im proud to say that I am a home owner, i dont have to worries of living with my parents, and whenever i decide to sell, it will have appreciated and put MORE money in my pocket (hopefully). a car is a car, they will be hot when they come out, some of us will remember them in the future and say " wow it was a great car." Go onto autotrader and see what 08 m3's go for, its a heart breaker to see what your 75k purchase will amount to.. IF YOUR CHASING CHICKS THAT LIKE YOUR CAR, GET RID OF THEM. chances are, they are not good for you.. just my .02, i hope you make the right choice

Got dawg, 13 pages. I got a small paragraph for you.

Everyone says, but the house because it has mroe value and it will so called earn money and has more wealth factor than an m3. All of that is true, but I'd get a nice ass apartment and relax with the m3 as well. Also wtf at 1000+ car payment?

if you are buying brand new and putting little or no money down then yes well over $1000.

buying cpo will save some money and so will a down payment, but if you have a new m3 'on deck' and havent already at least looked over these figures then it may be more like 'in the hole'
