OEM wheels are different widths front and rear. OEM tires are different sizes front and rear.

You could swap them side to side, but I'm not sure what the benefit would be.

Every 60-laps or so.

Unless you have a square set-up, you can't rotate a stock M3 setup.

My Dunlop Direzzas are directional, so I rotate them front to back.

Pilot Sport 1's are directional. Pilot Sport 2's (that come on many E9X M3's) are not directional. The PS 2's do have an outside and inside mounting requirement.

OK how about this:

For those of you who have a Square set up, how often do you rotate your tires?

I have never ran a sq set up but considering doing it for track/street

Thanks

For my square track setup, I rotate tires diagonally every 2 or 3 track days ( my tires are not directional, but they do have an inside and outside).

For my street setup which only has a side to side rotation option, I might do it once ( as I occasionally use them on a track and the front left gets more abuse than the right). If I had a square street set up, I would rotate front to back every 6-8K.

Ha ha ... I know you can't do front/back swap, just didn't know if there was any utility in a side to side swap ....

OP, you might need an alignment.
Bunch of douche bags here.

If you're doing street driving only, you can dismount the tires and swap them side to side to get more even wear across the thread. Tire Rack has tested this and said you may lose a little wet grip but it's otherwise fine to do. It sucks to throw away a set of tires because the inside is worn from the camber while there's plenty of meat on the outside.

My X5 was killer on the inside edge of the rear tires from all the stock negative camber.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
