I'm actually thinking about the STI-R which is listed on ebay for US$700. This gives you a remote install and allows you to hide the display (ashtray perhaps?).
I'm going to wait though, just picked up the car 2 days ago (so I'm still breaking her in). Let me know how things go...

That is the best way to do it...I am leasing so this is portable and transferable
