Track season over for you?

Is your track season over or do you do what you can to keep it going throughout the year? We basically have one more DE day available in my immediate area.....then Portland International Raceway PIR is shut down for holiday Christmas lights. But that won't stop me. I plan to head down to Thunderhill in November for a 2 day event (7.5hr drive). In addition there are The Ridge and Pacific Raceways thath 3.5 hr drive) that have "weather warrior" track days November - March.
I will have to shut it down for a bit to finalize the custom side exhaust, custom wiring harness and flat bottom the car.
Are going to shut it down, make some upgrades and/or keep tracking through the winter?

Summers may be brutal in Texas, but track season never ends here.

Over for me too

Took the dust off the PS3 and Fanatec for the Sim season. Nowhere near as fun, but keeps the reflexes sharp (or so I like to believe)

i could try to get down south in nov, but not worth the drive through crappy weather. i suppose if it stays warm in the NE the drive is ok, but it sucks.

the other factor is off season prep, and lack of $. lol.
i am happy, it was a busy year! i think i had 22-24 track days.

No wonder your out of money.....22-24 days with an E9x M3 adds up. That's why I have an E46 M3.......brake pads, rotors, tires last 2-3 times as long.

We run all year in Texas. I am running in Nov and Dec and am waiting for the 2014 schedule. July and Aug are brutally hot though.

I'm in Jerz and have VIR on Nov. 4th. That will be it for me. If I was in hot weather all year round I would keep tracking.

My season, sadly, is over. I plan on destroying what's left of my current set of track tires at a Drift event and maybe hitting 1 or 2 more autocross events before it gets too cold and nasty out here in Missouri.

Likewise Chris. Thanks for making me part of the group.

As for my track season, I have one open track day left at Thunderbolt and then that's it for the season.

In the off-season we'll be having our first baby, so we'll see what next season brings - hopefully at least 1 or 2 weekends. We shall see.
