E92 M3 Competition package.
All,
Great forum. Questions please:- 1. Is the competition package available in manual transmission? 2. Are the extra features worth it over standard? 3. Anyone bought a DCT and got bored and wanted a manual? 4. Best colour combo for resale. |

1. yes
2. If you are buying used, the extra cost is not $ for $ and is worth it IMO 3. NA I have manual 4. I have Melborne Red but would think best resale would be Interlagos Blue or Alpine White

Speak to UK dealers / independents when it comes to prices. White cars are very cheap compared to other colours as the market is flooded with them. Colours that are M specific or Individual will likely achieve best resale value.
I had a manual and now have DCT. I miss the engagement and involvement of a manual box. I miss using skills required to heel 'n toe, blend the clutch and throttle, etc. The DCT (with the very latest software) is good but anyone can drive a DCT fast, not many drivers can drive a manual car fast around a track. |

I have DCT, have driven plenty manuals and find them clunky and too much work for every day driving on UK roads. If it's a car you are buying for track then manual may make sense, but for me DCT is the best option, fantastic box!
best resale colours would be any individual i'd say, everyone can buy a white or silverstone blue etc M3....
