i think its a beauties in the eye of the beholder scenario
modded cars are worth what the guy who thinks your mods are fantastic wants to pay........... but obviously, 10k of mods don't make a 30k car, worth 40k......... i'd just strip it and sell it as a Mint low mileage M3 - and you've had lots of enquiries about the parts on here

Your right though, it's a buyers market, mine is up at £36,995 Dakar edtion, fully loaded TV, Logic 7, CD changer the spec list is massive but it's getting very little interested. Checked autotrader and pistonheads and it's lower priced one available.... It's a tough market out there. |

I wanted to sell mine ............see earlier post AM3
Whilst its not a special edition nor does it have any mods it is beautifully specced, low mileage and looked after lovingly as most of the cars on this forum are I would have taken £35,000 or less for 58 place 23k miles white / red novillo with every extra incl TV.....you name it But I am not selling it for peanuts & thats the reality out in the used M3 market today. BMW have loaded the market with M3's and while its reasonable to bring out a special edition like the Dakar they have gone bonkers with the various iterations of the same model That plus the economic climate & what the govt is doing to us - equates to people like us - Screwed sorry for the rant but I feel for all of us with great cars, wonderful specs and mods, beautifully maintained, trying to sell them for not unreasonable prices and yet .................. Best wishes A |
