Difference between early and later underdrive pulleys
Hi Guys,
I've been offered an Underdrive pulley but the Guy doesn't know what year of car it came from. Apparently there was a big change around May/June '08 and it would appear that the pulleys aren't inderchangeable. My car is a 57 (UK so Sept' '07 to Feb' '08) so should fall sqaurely into the early category. What physical differences should I be looking for in the early and later pulleys to establish if this will fit? Thanks. Ben |

I dont know about the pulley itself but, I do know they changed from a single sided belt to a double sided belt. My car is a July 08 build and uses the double sided belt.

Go to www.dinan.com and check the two models they offer. Dates and all are listed.
If you have further confusion, call them.

There are 2 different configurations, the change happened on or about 5/08 on the manual transmission and was always present on DCT:
SOP-5/08 6MT - Configuration 1 6/08+ 6MT, including all DCT models - configuration 2 Belt routing: 2008-5/08 6SPD models (non DCT) belt routing 6/08+ and all DCT belt routing Hope this helps, pulleys provide great (and inexpensive) hp gains.
