Help with CIC retrofit E92 M3 2008

Hi all,

I have done the retrofit myself and everything is all working except the TV Function.

When i go the the TV everything is just blank. All Programs > just blank screen.

The CCC tv tuner doesn't work with the CIC? Or do i need to code something?

I got the kit from Lithuania and everything is plug and play (the CIC unit has inbuilt emulator) so i don't even need the plug and play harness.

Everything is precoded for me, I'm not even sure i need to do any programming at all.

But I did add in the #0909 and the $6VA. $609 was already there.

I can see the CIC on the list now.

Any help would be great.

you need to re-pin the connector for the cic video signal (white plug)

and also change on the cic this code:
TVM_VARIANTE to vm_l4_most_fkat

The pin assignment in CIC is slightly different to CCC. You need to swap a couple of wires at the back of the CIC unit. If I can find what they are I will post it here. I had the same after my CIC retrofit. Got sound but no picture.

Not sure about the coding.

thanks guys. already sorted out. Yeah it was the pin issue.

The white plug:

-pin 2 to pin 12
-pin 4 to pin 2.

Was it just the physical pin change that was required? No coding necessary?

Thoughts so far? Worth the upgrade?
