What other cars did you test drive?

Corvette Z06, even though the model I was interested in was the 436hp Grand Sport.

Nissan 370Z. I tried to go for a test drive, and believe it or not, was not allowed to do it. I went to two Nissan dealerships, and they both refused to let me drive it. The excuse? "It's a sports car, we don't allow fun rides on powerful cars". I guess that they thought I didn't mean business. On top of that, they wanted MSRP, even though they are selling for $2k below Invoice. What a way to lose a potential buyer in this economy. Funny thing is, right after I went to see them, they started sending me lots of emails with better offers and the possibility to test drive the car. Amazing.
They will receive a picture of me on my new M3.

I tested a Scuderia, a Gallardo Superlaggera and an SLR McLaren. They just didnt have the brute power of the M3.

Was well versed in the competition. Personally, I don't enjoy test drives so only do it when absolutely required.

They won't let you test drive Nissan 370z !!!! I can't believe this. I test drove 911 4s...911s Vert and another M3 cp with no questions asked...Their loss....

I tested every single car on the market that met my criteria:

1) 400hp high revving V8
2) DCT
3) seats four or more
4) convertible

So yeah, the only thing available was the M3. I test drove it just to make sure the DCT was really what I wanted. I then bought the car on the spot.

Yep, they won't let me drive a $32k car. I'm glad I didn't end up buying it, due to the issues inherent to this car: serious overheating (needs an oil cooler), dangerous brakes (google Nismo crash @ VIR) and that awful engine NVH.
