*Active Autowerke E9X M3 Signature X Pipe w/ High Flow Cats*
Dear Members,
We are re-introducing our E9X M3 Signature X Pipe w/ High Flow Cats. The design remains the same, the high flow cats are now Euro III compliant meaning they satisfy the stock ECU in regards to not having a CEL. Best, |

Looks like a really nice set-up, Omar. What kind of gains are you seeing on the dyno?

Regarding fitment, the system is completely bolt on, you might need to bend the heat shield a tad but definitely no need for banging... nothing like others on the market.
Regarding them being street legal... they satisfy the factory ECU and do not throw a CEL. HP Gains are roughly 2-3 HP less than our X pipe setup.. looking at anywhere between 15-19 rwhp and 12-17 ft lbs of torque. The biggest different to me is the power under the curve... |

Can you tell me how much, and what kind of, testing you did to arrive at the statement that this will not cause a CEL? Thanks!
I like that it has brackets to accept the factory bracing near/under the transmission - nice touch. The clamp system looks a lot better than the slip fittings on the market....which leak in my experience. Some of those welds aren't too pretty; but that doesn't mean they aren't functional. |

Wasn't Fabspeed using 300cpi cats that did fine until Winter came around?

HFCs
Hi All,
I've been running this setup for the past 3k miles or so. No issues at all and no cel. My original setup with the x-pipes had the cat delete. Problem was that it smelled like a racing pit when the car idled. As soon as these HFCs were placed on it took away the smell. Power delivery pretty much still feels the same to me as when I didn't have the cats. Well worth the purchase in my opinion. You'll love the sound and performance gain with the full exhaust. The car sounds like a F1 engine. In fact, I was talking to my friend on the blue tooth in the car the other day. While I was talking to him I was moving from a red to a green light. He asked me what that sound was. I asked him what sound and he replied that it sounded like a race car. I laughed and told him it was my car. And he's not a petrol head at all. Hope this helps. |
