If that is what they call the cabin air filter, if so, as you thought, it's easy to do. Just 4 small screws, 2 holding each cover, remove, change filters and reinstall. Save yourself at least $150.00

Could you tell me where is the location of the filter in the car? I was also wondering how to DIY this. Thanks!

Three 8mm hex bolts on each side, and 2 filters on each side, so you need 4 filters. I relocated the alarm wire so I can remove that cover in seconds, but you can always flip it forward and just replace the filters, so you don't have to deal with removing the connector. Good luck.
