First shot of camo'd DSG interior

Could this be the first shot of an interior with DSG? I suspect it is because of the heavy camo on the steering wheel and shifter. If it is only SMG why would they need to visually safeguard these elements?

I guess the point of my post was not to focus on the interior. Many of us are quite excited about DSG and hoping we can buy that as an option as soon as the car is available. So my post was simply to show that it looks very likely that there is a new transmission already on the road.

Never could understand why so many owners of the outgoing model have to put down the new model. Happens on all the boards. Watch... as soon as you see the new car on the road, and read the performance stats, you're going to want one, so why not just "stfu" for now (language "u" can understand)

Sorry but I noticed something else w/ the interior...ARMREST split in too and adjustable for either driver or passenger...(I'm not sure if the 335 as this but just noticed it w/ this pic)

On the topic on hand we could only hope that'll be available from the start...

The split armrest is an option in europe ever since the E9x was available. You can only slide the drivers-side bolster forward or back. I have it on my car.

Pity, but the M3 will debut with 6MT only. There will be DSG later, not clear by when yet.

I didn't know that's what it was called

I hope we get those super-huggy adjustable seats like on the E60 M5. I've never felt such great lateral support outside of a Sparco racing seat!

Looking at the different seats and the ///M i-drive controller this clearly is a M3 test mule.
Apparantly, they do not want people to recognize. So no special trim in this picture. But the M3 surely will get a unique trim (CF or CF printed leather).

I think it is. There really is no need for a full ///M interior if the only goal is to test the ZSG. Note that it has the iDrive dash, but no unit installed - not important for the job at hand. But you do need good seats to keep the booty properly planted!

The car has the 'business navigation', hence the smaller screen and no voice control button under the idrive-controller. No business navigation in NA.

Titan Shadow

I'm not sure but that trim looks a lot like the Titan shadow trim on the e46 M3. It would be nice to have this trim again, it looks good and it's easy to keep clean.
