FS: Innotech Valvetronic Exhaust
Hey everyone, I am putting my Innotech Evolution Sport exhaust for sale. It is the full system, including catless X-Pipe with NO CEL & PASSES emmisions, and Valvetronic Rear Section. The exhaust is in great condition. It has never been dinged or dented as a result of the car hitting something while driving. It has been handled with care and is in the same condition as when I purchased it. This is one of the best sounding exhausts available for our cars IMO and I hate to part ways with it but I am in the process of selling the car. The system also gained me a significant amount of power. Before I installed it, I would regularly get beaten by C63s however since installing it, I am able to pull on them slightly. Make sure you let people know that this is the sport exhaust and not the F1 evolution exhaust. GLWS though! I have the F1 evolution and it is by far the best sounding exhaust for this car.
I highly recommend this exhaust to anyone else thinking about it.

What's the difference between this one and the F1 Evolution? This one looks like it has the valves as well.

I believe the design of the x-pipe is the difference and they claim the f1 evolution is 20% louder then sport version on open valves. I personally have the f1 evolution innotech.

I'm curious to know how a car without cats can pass emissions... You might want to reconsider that statement.

I have no idea. They told me that due to the shape of the x-pipe, the sensors that would result in a CEL being thrown don't pick up the fact that theres no cats, so thats why no CEL. and as far as the emissions statement, I got the MA state inspection done with the exhaust on the car, with no tune on the car and it passed all readiness tests and succeeded the emissions check. So to answer your curiosity, I have no idea why it passed emissions. But after reconsidering my statement, I'll go with the same reason Innotech gave me regarding the x-pipe shape. |

Your state must not test the actual gas coming out of the exhaust. My understanding is that in CA they do (haven't had to do it). The system will not pass an emission test that actually tests the exhaust gas. It may pass a visual and "code" inspection but that's it. I would not advertise that it will pass emissions if I were you. - You are selling a great exhaust system and any system that removes the cats will not pass emissions in most states that test it. You need to remove the cats in order to make decent power gains with the M3. It's not going to hurt your sale to adjust your statement about emissions (and why create an argument with a future buyer?). It's the reality of any exhaust that makes decent power gains on an M3. I just don't want a forum member to buy it and think that they won't have any emissions testing issues... GLWS!
