For those wanting the 435i
There seems to be a few people that are thinking about trading their m3 for a 435. So I thought I'll go to the local dealer and drive one and see what the story is all about.
First impression besides the side fenders the car looked nice. Behind the wheel this is where I right away found out that no way in hell would I trade my m3 for this. When you step on the gas you could not hear the turbos, the engine nor the exhaust. It feels like I was driving an electric car. I drove an automatic and the gear shifts in sport mode where very slow nothing like the dual clutch. I knew that this would be the outcome but just wanted to check for my self and for anybody that is on the fence don't do it. Thanx for reading |

I thought it might be part of a Nike package.

I think BMW has an opening in marketing for you.

I drove the automatic 435 with xdrive and was pretty underwhelmed. Drove the manual 435 xdrive and had an absolute blast. The automatic, as good as it is, still doesn't produce the same level of driving pleasure as a manual for me. I even drifted the manual version while out on my test drive. I was very impressed. I'm waiting until the spring to compare the 435 with all of the M performance goodies to the all out M4 and I'll make my final decision from there.
