Anyone with a fresk take on this or anything new with the Invisicord?

I have a 2011.5 e93 that I am looking to get wired, and am lookimg for advice...

I used this method to hardwire my Passport 9500ix and it seems to work fine. I can't replicate the auto dim issue...

Same here, mine has been hooked up since the day I posted the thread and never had any issues with dimming or the V1 locking up. I'm guessing that guy has a short somewhere.

I bought my V1 used and it came with a invisicord but don't have any instructions. Updates with pictures would be great!

I've used the invisicord in previous vehicles. I wasn't perfectly happy with the way it fits into the plug. Personally I would just hardwire with the standard method.
