The GT3 is not the best car to daily drive but it can be done if you don't have to deal with a lot of stop lights and/or traffic. That being said, my GT3 is a weekend and occasional track car. An M3 would be a much better DD but a 997.2 Turbo with PDK would make a great daily driver too.

Not at all. If money is no object, then sure it's an amazing car IMO. But the V10's are going for well over $110k last time I checked.
I'm going with option A... kind of. Because I do plan to keep the M3 (and leave it NA) while adding a 997.1 Turbo, MT, Speed Yellow.

I too love modding cars, but when installation is factored in, the costs are a little higher in my experience, unfortunately. Another on topic comment is that the turbo actually is quite expensive to mod. The tunes are very expensive and the manual cars require a more robust clutch even with a tune alone. |

New GT-R will stomp an ESS M3, and do it will its full warranty intact. Not hating on ESS by any means, but a $25k motor is a pretty big risk if you lose a rod bearing. No amount of oil analysis is going to save you if it decides to give way unexpectedly or you have a money shift.

This 911 Turbo is pretty good
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1 Or this V10 R8 http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1 But for the ultimate weekend car, I'd get this 2004 360 Modena. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1 |

It's ironic that the most reliable sports car I have ever owned gets bashed over warranty(especially from BMW owners).

[QUOTE=Team Plutonium;14483429] I spent way more on booze.
Way to go drunky mcdrunkerson. I would never do that except before 9am and after 10 every day. I have yet to personally meet somebody who did a money shift. [/QUOTE It does happen. Hang out at the track and you will eventually find it. People who skip shift often at greater risk. And I would choose a used gt3. Its not his daily and that's what I want and so should he. |

My only gripe about the newer ones is that Nissan now allows use of LC but have tightened the optimal operating parameters so much that the car will go into a hobble mode if you run it a little hot. I have had this issue on both my '12 and '13.
