did or will you get the 19" wheels? why or why not?

I'm thinking maybe yes.

I have seen both and prefer the 19" wheels, but some say they are heavy like 30 lbs each? how come they are so heavy? also does the weight or the lower profile make the car any worse?

I mean if I'm not going to the race track will even notice 7 lbs per wheel difference? I know unsprung weight or rotational mass is the worst kind but it's already a heavy car would +30 lbs matter?

How do you find the cost of the 19" option? Is that good and are the wheels good quality?

I went with 18's.... I like the darker look, the fatter tires fill out the wheel well the same way, not everyone and there mom has them, significantly lighter (reduction in unsprung weight), and finally they are $1200 cheaper....

I prefer 19".
I´m not very worried about their weight, but i do care about the looks.
Of course less rotating mass is better but the looks is more important if you don´t go for track days.

can some 19" owners say how they like them? Can they notice the weight or the lower profile (bump)?

I've got the 19" wheels. They look great, but I must say, the 18" wheels look much better in person than they do in pictures. If you are going to use the car on the track a lot, the 18" wheels kind of make more sense.

sorry if I left out some poll answers (it's hard to think what to put in this poll) also the first should say GOOD value (not god value) LOL

If a mod wants to fix that or add something to the poll that's fine

I will be ordering the 19's. I don't like the darker look of the 18's.

No, I did not get the 19s because I want to receive my car sooner so I defaulted to the 18s

thats what makes me hesitate on the 18's. I thought 18's would be lighter and faster -

but apprently the 19's will be faster aas they are forged in the heavens and they are a god value !

Huh? The 19's weigh about 4lbs more per wheel. Thats 16 pounds of unsprung weight or equivalent to about 64lbs of sprung weight using the "times four" rule of thumb.

Does anyone know for sure if the weight difference is 4 lbs per wheel or 8 lbs per wheel (which I read somewhere else)?

Uhh your not actually getting 19's for $1200...your already getting wheels (18's) included in the list price. The 19" wheels and tires cost an additional $1200 on top of what you are already paying for 18's.

yeah, this I realize but If I were to get aftermarket 19's with tires it would run me a lot more than 1200 since I would probably not sell the 18's.

I went the 18" route and then ordered aftermarket 19" wheels. Aftermarket 18" wheels essentially don't exist. I went with BBS RS-GTs from the Tire Rack. The cash breakdown is this:

BBS Wheels - $4760
19" PS2 Tires - $1382
TPS Sensors - $152
Valves - $32

With this setup I have a fully operational set of stock 18s and really nice aftermarket 19s for a grand total of $6326 prior to tax. I can use the 18s on the track.

Let's say I went with the stock 19s and then went aftermarket, reusing as much of them as possible:

BBS Wheels - $4760
19" PS2 Tires - $0
TPS Sensors - $0
Valves - $0

With this setup I have really nice aftermarket 19s for $4760 and a spare set of stock 19" wheels I can resell, but no track option without an extra outlay. I’ve saved $1566 before taxes

If you don't plan to track and buy the stock 19s for $1200, that's less than buying a new set of 19" PS2s from Tire Rack. From this standpoint it is actually cheaper to buy the stock 19s and go aftermarket 19" wheels assuming you go with the same stagger as stock. If you don't go the same stagger then financially things don't look so attractive

I'm leaning toward 18s as I'll probably end up with Black or Sparkling Graphite. If I get the itch to upgrade I'll go for a painted black aftermarket wheel and keep the 18s for winter.
