Was wondering if any of you guys are familiar with this car. It's jerez blue, manual, no options.
There is an accident recorded for it. Would like to get a little more info.

Hey Mang!
here are my 2cents

Initial reaction to your post is.... I hope it's cheap given the options and accident

After seeing add.... run away

The rims are an indication of what you're looking at.

The rims are ugly, no argument there. Even more so when you see the car in person. All I could think is WHY would any-one put them on.
That being said, this is a winter setup. Stock wheels come with the car.

The warranty is there till the end of May.
$7000 in damages is most probably a minor accident, given the typical cost of repair for BMW's and M3 specifically. However that accident is on file and will definitely affect the resale of the car going forward.
This is why it goes for 44k and will probably sell lower.

Yeah, typical repair for M3's are crazy expensive. It cost me $5000 just to replace the back bumper when someone hit me. It was just a minor dent without any subframe damage. I ask them to replace my bumper since it was thru insurance.

Anyways, that M3 listed at Vaughan looks ok and $7k isn't that big of a deal as long as it drives great. However I would ask them to knock it down another $4-5K since it is a bare-bones car.

My thoughts exactly, but I am leaning towards passing on this one.
The accident on file will make future sale a pain.

It's a good deal. $7000 in damages is nothing on an M3. My friend backed into my 08 M3 just lightly with a Suburban and this dented the hood, broke one of the grills, and scratched the bumper. There was no frame damage or anything. Initially I thought it would be a $1500 repair thats how minor it was. The next day I found out that just the hood was $1800 before taxes. I got it fixed at a BMW approved body shop (European Auto Body) and they charged insurance $7500 after paint and labour.

As for the wheels, if its a winter setup then you have nothing to worry about. This car is priced accordingly in my opinion but it wouldn't hurt to ask the dealer to discount it a bit more.

CPO? If not, get another 2-3G off that price. It seems to be in ok condition.

If you plan on keeping the car for several years, by then the car has depreciated enough that it will not make that much of a difference whether
it previous had $7k in damages or not. Especially if the dealership is willing to knock another $4-5K off right now.

Not sure how low would the dealership be willing to go down on price. After test driving it I decided against it.
Interior is not in a good condition. Gearbox left me with impression that whoever drove this car was using it to learn driving on manual transmission.

The funny thing, when I came for a test drive there was an M3 sedan appraised for a trade-in. What's up with people switching sides? I figured that after living with M3 for few years one would be totally in love with BMW brand.

As a side note, they have brand new TTRS loaded with options for 78k. Looking good
