Ground Control to springs??
Has anyone gone from ground control sleeve kit to H&R sport springs (lowering springs period)? I purchase an used e92 M3 that had ground control sleeves and the ride is pretty harsh, but it could just be the streets of houston.
If I was to switch would there be any parts that were thrown away from the install of the GC sleeves that would be necessary for springs install? Thanks for the input! |

I would contact GC and discuss softer springs with them. You can pick your spring spec based on your needs. Plus you can adjust the ride height to add more suspension travel for more comfort. Far better option than going to H & R springs.

You might be too low and using a lot of your bump stop. Peek in the front wheel well and see how much of the rod you see.
If the PO didn't put shorter bump stops in there, that would cause the problem as well.

Thanks .. I'll try and check it out maybe I'll need to raise it a bit. I think it was only a 20mm drop.

I agree with everyone that's saying stick with the GC sleeve-over kit rather than switching to lowering springs. Contact GC and swap out the current spring rates for softer F and R rates
