McGard Wheel locks

Can anyone point me in a direction on where to get these? I want to make sure I end up getting ones that will work with the E92 M3.

We can get you both, but I recommend the RAD locks.
they are the only cold-Forged wheel lock bolts on the market and I recommend them to any and all car lovers...

Are the RAD locks roughly the same weight as oem? I ask b/c on my other vehicle, I originally used locks that were noticeably heavier than the aftermarket lugs & I had a steering wheel vibration. Then I switched the locks out for lighter one's (same brand as aftermarket lugs) & the problem went away.

they are almost the same weight as oem... i've been using them on my car for the last month and no vibrations so far... i didnt weigh the bolts but from what i can tell when i took the oem wheel bolt off, the RADs feel the same (maybe slightly heavier).

Agreed on that. RAD is the way to go with wheel locks. Have served us properly for some time now as well

What do the RAD wheel locks look like? I have a set of OEM BMW wheel locks on the car now and also have a set of McGard wheel locks for the car from my previous e46 M3. I'm thinking I will use either or both on my 360Forged wheels when they get here. Unless of course you can provide me a better reason to spend the 40 bucks and get a set of RAD wheel locks...

Here's just a random picture we have off the website:

But yeah that's what they look like. Let me know if you want a set.

Also - the RADs are available in longer lengths for those running spacers.

Not sure how it is in California but I haven't heard of any wheels being jacked off of any car in my area for at least 25 years. Seems that theives go for Xenons, airbags or portable GPS now.

I've heard of it happening. Wheel locks just slow down a theif. Don't think that because you have a wheel lock they can't get it off.

nice looking wheels are stolen all the time and i agree that wheel locks only slow down the thief but hopefully that extra work that they have to do is enough to deter them to steal wheels from a neighboring car instead of yours. kind of like when people put steering wheel locks on their steering wheel, its not impossible to break but there are tons of other cars with no steering wheel locks at all.

Why not the OEM ones? And they're black. And the key fits perfectly on its hole in the trunk's tool kit. Just saying.

Is there only one kind of key for the RAD locks? They look like the OEM BMW. I need a new set of locks since I'm running 12mm spacers.

Maybe its easier just to get the stud conversion kit (wider selection of lug nut locks).

RAD uses over 100 different keys, it's rare (and unlikely) someone will have your key.

Going the stud conversion route would widen your choices, made sure you opt for an open end lock.

Thank you for the prompt reply Tom. It dawned me that I can just call your office, which I just did.

The RAD only comes in silver, which I want blk. And for the stud conversion, I'm only running spacers in the rear (12mm), not for the front. So unless I find some open end wheel locks, that route wont work for the front (will for the rear since normal nut locks will work).

What to do...

the best solution is to go with a 75mm Macht Schnell Studs with the Kics R40 open End Lug nuts with locks.

this will work with the 12mm spacers (maximum).
