Cheers!
You wouldn't happen to live, or at least frequent, the Cedar Hills/Mills area of Beaverton would you? I used to see a SG E92 with a cage in it in the area. Its the car that made me want a SG M3.

That'll be me then. Hope you like your M3? 'Used to see' is apt. Not really a daily any more for me unfortunately.

I have the perfect exhaust for you. Akra mid pipe going up for sale!

1:49 is where I/the car needs to be in order to be competitive. Is that possible? Sure. I have an Epic tune coming this week good for 10-15hp. Now if we can get the car setup properly...........the driver set up properly we should be right there.

I love the M3. I had been looking for a while and was leaning towards white. But seeing your SG a few times really swayed me to that color.

I've started seeing another SG E92 around, though it doesn't have a cage in it.

A few of us are going to the Ridge June 1-2 for the NASA HPDE/TT/Races. From the results of the last event it looks like there will be a lot of room on the track. Though we would try something new as in the TT.
The Turn 2 event a few weeks ago had open passing with point by. That arrangement worked quite well but still got held up practically every lap. I would go back and recommend to any more advanced driver.

nice! .. when I looked up their schedule it looked like only four 20 minute sessions so I was worried about traffic.. but it sounds like you had a good experience.. I'm tempted to sign up..

NASA does have four 20 minute sessions plus one 30 minute "open track" session at the end of the day. I believe it is only $350 - $375 for two days.

This past NASA weekend was a good time! I ran in the HPDE 4/Time Trial group with two other friends. This group is open passing everywhere no point needed. I wondered how this would work but it was actually more fluid than the typical HPDE. Let me explain: everyone is gridded by lap time. everyone rolls out of the pits in single file without a stagger. theoretically you don't need to pass someone till you catch/lap the back markers in 7 or so laps. It seemed as it was easier to understand/ predict what the other drivers were going to do. The only car that held me up was a GT3 RS that didn't move through the middle portion of the track. granted that was only the second session and people were just getting used to the new format. I know it was discussed that there are only 4 / 20 minute session s but I can tell you there is no time to rest behind slow car waiting for a point. I was spent even though I only got 3.5 sessions out of 8 (that's another story). Anyway, NASA HPDE 4/Time Trials is recommended!

June 7th at the Ridge!

I had a blast yesterday at the Ridge with Turn 2. My previous best was a 2:00 flat. This time around I dipped to a high 1:58 and stayed there, as in without any traffic I was able to run this lap time consistently all day.

My current goal is to get a 1:55. Only 3 seconds to go!

Also my NT01s are working like champs now. I have 5 days on them and there's no splicing and they're super sticky!

I love this car!

Not going this time around, work, but the one at the end of summer I may try and make if I can figure out a trailer situation for it.
