Another TPMs question.
I've recently bought a new set of ZCPs.
I've had an OEM 19 set before, from which I've used the TPMs. Now I can't reset the TPMs, from start up it says TPMs malfunction (few secs it tryes to reset). The tire pressure is fine. I've got eibachs and I've changed a bit the tire setup to - 245/35 + 275/30 - can this cause the trouble ? Last edited by sic; 05-23-2011 at 09:06 AM.. |

Are you holding the TPMS (tire symbol) button in the center dash pressed several seconds with the car idling? Or invoking the reset from iDrive? If not, do it that way; it doesn't reset itself. And it also doesn't work if you're moving.
If you did it right and didn't work, you probably have incompatible sensors. Remember '08/'09 sensors are different than '10/'11, so check that out. Good luck. |
