SOLD - FS: Used Falken FK452 tires 255/30-20 and 305/25-20

Sold

Item Interest
I just bought a used set of 20" Volk wheels from someone on this forum, came mounted with a decent set of Falken FK452 tires, unfortunately they do not provide enough traction for my supercharged M3, as I suspected they would not. Just ordered a new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports to replace them, those were great on my stock 19's so I am hoping for the best.

Selling the Falkens as I will never have a need for them. Pictures of the tires can be seen on the following post. I can also send some more detailed pics if requested.

The tires all have even wear, no rubbing issues whatsoever from prior owner or from me in the past 10 days (running on stock suspension).

The fronts (255/30) have between 7/32" and 8/32" tread remaining, new they have 10/32" tread, so about 75% tread remaining on them. $300 FOR THE PAIR PLUS SHIPPING

The rears (305/25) have between 4/32" and 5/32" tread remaining, new they have 10/32" tread, so about 45% tread remaining on them. $320 FOR THE PAIR PLUS SHIPPING

$580 FOR ALL FOUR TIRES PLUS SHIPPING!

I will entertain all offers...

Please make all offers excluding shipping charges, include your shipping zip code, I will quote that separately, I run a shipping business so I will give you super cheap UPS rates. Payment accepted by PayPal, Google Checkout, I can even accept credit cards through my business. I will cover all payment fees. Tires are located in Philadelphia, PA, local pickup is available too

Thanks for looking!

what size did you buy for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports ?
I have 20' as well. I want to put on Michelin Pilot Super Sports , I'm thinking 265/30/20 and 295/25/20
I got 255/30/20 and 295/25/20. No rubbing, but Michelin Pilot Super Sports only has 265/30 on the front. May be too tall.....

I ordered 265/30 and 295/30, will be installing this week when they arrive. I wanted 255/30 but they don't have that in PSS. Went with 30 sidewall in the back for more straight traction, less chance of wheel bending, smoother ride, etc, I don't like 25 sidewall tires.

The stock front diameter on the stock 19" BMW wheel with 245/35 tires is 25.8", with 265/30 it will now be 26.3", effectively raising the car 0.25". For the rear, stock diameter on the stock 19" BMW wheel with 265/35-19 tires is 26.3", it will now be 27", effectively raising the car 0.35". I don't think I will have any rubbing issues, others have mounted 265's on front with no rubbing. For the rear, I currently have 305, so 295 should not be an issue either.

Ideally, you should mount 255/30 on front, maybe one day soon they will be available in PSS (consider mounting PS2's on front for now). For the rear, best size for 20's is 275/30, but that only supports up to 10" wheel diameter, I have an 11" rear wheel. If you need 10.5" support, 285/30 is the best option.

Thanks for the info. Really helpful.
I read this on the forum, one person had a little bit rubbing issue for the 265/30
I had 11", I need 295/30 on the rear. I may go with 305/25 this time.

I'm worry about the rear. I' worriy about the front. Please do let me know after you get the 265/30. I want to make sure no rubbing.....
My car is lowed by KW Clubsport

Thank you!

Hello,

I have a question. I just ordered 20" staggered rims for my 2008 BMW M3 E93. They recommended 255/30/20 FRONT and 305/25/20 REAR. Will these rub based on your experience? My car is about 1.5 inch lowered. I am really reconsidering going with 19" rims now.
