Good thread Alex
1. 26,000 (will be 32,000+ by mid-June) 2. 2011 3. Nothing (unless ACM Exhaust Mod counts) 4. Perfect for the most part. I have a slight rattle in my driver side A-Pillar and my cigarette lighter doesn't get hot (both being checked out soon) 5. I flip-flop on this, I've been getting the GT-R/997 itch - but I think at the end of the day the M3 is the best al around car if you can only have 1 vehicle |

^^this.. Sorry, to me it's weird to see threads (more than 1) about "high mileage" and people posting abour cars w/ 5-30k miles. Cmon. Where are all the high mile cars?? I sold my e46 M w/ 82k on it, ran great. I did ALOT of maintenance (all myself so money saved) but where are all the 08 e9x? I bet there not on this forum and driving lol |

i recently traded in my 2009 m3 that i got new and daily'd and i turned it in with 81k miles... never had a problem. it pulled just as hard as the day i got it. the only mods i had was a exhaust, and an afe intake.
super solid engine/car. i think the only thing that was beginning to go were the tie rods..but thats normal wear and tear.

I'm not in an M3 yet...working on it, but I'd thought I'd post up my 328i experiences for comparison's sake. 1. 75xxx (purchased as CPO in 2009 w/ 36k mi) 2. 2007 328i 6MT 3. Stock 4. Replaced rear differential, burned up the stereo amplifier, 2 window regulators, cup holder, central locking system failed, cracked rear brake rotors, had to have all 8 pads replaced once because they got too hot and glazed over, power steering pump, alternator....probably forgetting several things 5. love the car, but have gotten the M bug I tracked the car for one day, cracked the rear brake rotors and went out and bought a boxster to beat on. While the M3 would be my DD I'd still put some track days on her. |

44,000mile
2008 MY completely stock holding up well considering its driven hard on track days and canyon drives. Wifes DD too Plan on keeping it atleast till new M3 is out. Then decide if we want another m3 or not. Right now Im leaning towards keeping it longer even if i buy the wife another car. Only issue so far are vacuum hoses, and iac valve. |
