Help: Should I buy this E90?

I'm in the market for E90M3 and found:

08 E90 M3
Jet Black, Black Leather, Carbon Leather Trim.
Premium Pkg/Tech Pkg/Premium Audio/Moon Roof/iPod/18" Wheels
7.1k miles on the odo. Price is 51k.

It seems like most of good deal E90/E92 are gone from the dealership.
So I think this is pretty good deal (looked at Autotrader and couldn't find anything decent for 51-53k).

So I think this is pretty decent but I wanted to ask you guys for some advice. If this is decent deal, prob. I will get it tomorrow.

Thanks in advance guys!

Not bad (especially if you can knock a few grand off), but watch out for the higher finance rates on used cars... A few percentage points can really add up.

I can't knock off anything.
$50,999 is what I need to pay if I buy.
As far as APR, I got pre-approved for 5.75% so I don't worry too much on that.
I'm trying to make my decision by tomorrow 5 PM PST.

Help me with you what to do. Please.

If that's the car @ Carmax...I would say go for it! Their return policy is excellent if you have buyer's remorse.

I say go for it, then. You won't regret it once the deal is done and you're in the drivers seat.

I was looking for some amazing deals that some of us here got but it seems like it's not that easy to come by for normal folk like me.

So if this is pretty good deal and m3 owners here approves(?), I'm going to sign the paper tomorrow.

Seems like a good deal to me. I have the same car, colors and all, and paid a lot more only 5 months ago. If the car checks out - service history, no paint work/accidents - and you like it, then pull the trigger. You are getting a good deal.

You can get a new E90 M3 for that much, and probably a better APR.

My opinion: mediocre to bad deal.

I believe end of last year, people got some amazing deals and 0.9% APR on top of it but it seems like all 08 leftovers now are 75k+ MSRP E93s (discounted price in 60k - 65k).
And BMW doesn't have special rate for 08s anymore (7.5% standard APR from BMW). Do I need to wait for some other and better deals? And what's the target price in that case?

Did you check the work/service history? Warranty still intact?

going to call BMW to make sure the VIN is clean today in terms of dealer warranty. I checked Carfax and it was clean.

It doesn't matter to the dealership if you finance or pay outright (they are getting their money outright anyways). From what I understand, BMW is doing 4.9% on the 2008s and you can get a deep discount on a sedan with manual transmission. You could probably find a CPO'ed M3 sedan for $51k.

BMW dealership said its standard rate @7.5% on 2008s, no?

I'm not sure even with the ED discount he could get that well of an equipped 09 for 51k. I did a quick tally and invoice would be over $60k. Maybe a stripper, and his APR would be better, for sure on an 09. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can someone explain how he could get a *loaded* '09 for around $50K as many of you suggested is possible? Personally, I don't see how that is possible.

Heh, are you talking about the post I just deleted? That was a mistake, my bad!

Actually, the question regarding getting a new '09 M3 for the same price you're looking to buy this used one - is obviously very relevant. I'm sure you'd want to get a new customized '09 vs a used '08, right??
