Omar of AA has just informed me that their X pipe does not throw a CEL on current BMW software but there is an update that was recently released that yields a CEL after X amount of miles.

consider just cutting your secondary cats off... it's a fraction of the price of an xpipe and is pretty much the same if you're not going to change the primary cats and don't want to worry about a CEL.

This is not a good piece of equipment to buy.... it constantly clears the codes in your ECU so you will never know if you have a real problem. Plus if anyone needs to pass a "readiness" test for an annual inspection you will fail. So it's basically over $400 just to turn off a light.
