3m Paint Protection & HO Installers in NOVA
Does anyone know of any quality installers for scotchgard paint protection film or Huper Optik in the Northern Virginia / DC area? Thanks in advance! Also thoughts on detailers in the area (reflections or any others)?

definitely reccommend raja, he's top notch! He's done many of our cars here and on e90post. If you want to see some work done by him you can see many examples, he has a post on e90post that shows some pictures of his installs. Also for tint I would do f1 pinnacle no problems with comfort access at all, which is done by LA tint in sterling, they also have a branch in alexandria but would avoid it.

On a side note would you all recommend getting the car prepped by a pro detailer right after pickup then having the clear shield put on, or have the shield put on then detail it?
Thanks! |

Detail before clearshield so the paint is in the best possible shape before they cover it.

LA Tint in Manassas has installed F1 Pinnacle Series on my last three cars and I have been very pleased with the results.

ventureshield install
I picked up my car a couple of hours ago from Raja. The recommendations on here and e90post are right on the money. He did an excellent job. He did a full detail of the car before applying the ventureshield and the car looks better today than it did when I took delivery at the PDC last week. I had two people on the way home tell me the car looks great. One guy at the gas station I stopped at and the other pulled up next to me at a red light driving a 535i. Is that a coincidence? IDK, but the car looks amazing.
Unfortunately my SD card took a crap and the pics I took with Raja’s camera won’t download to my computer. I’m new to this so hopefully I can repost with pics when Raja emails them to me. |

Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie here but was looking into getting ventureshield. Since the last post was a while back, I was wondering whether Raja still does the ventureshield install? And to anyone who has had it on their car for a while, how do you like it? Have you had any issues with it, such as peeling, different fading of paint compared to rest of the car (which doesn't have ventureshield on it). Can anyone who has it installed recommend what parts of the car it should be applied to? (Mainly hood and front bumper?). Thanks very much for your thoughts! |
